Working Dog / Performance Judge United Schutzhund Clubs of America 32808 Crown Valley Rd. Acton, CA 93510 (661) 269-2539 Nathaniel owned his first dog, a German Shepherd Dog when he was 11 years old, followed a year later by a second German Shepherd Dog that his family raised for one year as a 4 H project for the Guide Dogs for the Blind. After being away from dogs for almost 20 years he again became a dog owner when he met his wife Susan and her Rottweiler “Gypsy”, shortly thereafter they purchased a German Shepherd Dog “Saber” and were introduced into the sport of schutzhund. Nathaniel lives with his wife Susan and their two sons Shea and Brandon. His wife Susan is actively involved in dog sport as an member and officer in the South West Working Dog Association training and handling her Belgian Malinois “Danzig”. Nathaniel has been actively involved in schutzhund for more than 14 years, having titled 7 dogs to various levels including BH, SchH 1 – 3, IPO 1 – 3, FH, FH2 and SG 1, earning more than 40 titles with these dogs at local, regional and national events. In 2002 he and his dog “Xaran” won the South West Regional Schutzhund 3 Championship and the United Schutzhund Clubs of America Universal Sieger. He is a member of the United Schutzhund Clubs of America Schutzhund 3 Club and has earned the Bronze, Silver, Gold and Masters Sports Medals. Nathaniel has been both a training and trial helper at various schutzhund clubs (Sunland SchH Club, Southwest Working Dog Assoc, Anacapa Working Dog Assoc, Derhundsport Performance Klub, International Working Dog Assoc.) in the southwest region. He is currently the Training Director for the South West Working Dog Association and has served as vice president and president at both International Working Dog Assoc and Anacapa Working Dog assoc. He has organized and been the chairperson for club trials, a Regional Championship, the North American Championship, a Regional Breed Show and been involved in the United Schutzhund Clubs of America Sieger show. He has served on the United Schutzhund Clubs of America Executive Board of Directors as both Regional Director for 2 terms and Vice President and is currently the Helper Program Director. He completed his United Schutzhund Clubs of America Judges Apprenticeship and received his Working Dog / Performance License at the 2002 United Schutzhund Clubs of America General Board Meeting in Gadsen, Al. In his first year as a judge he presided at more than 11 trials and was authorized to judge at 2 Regional Championships as well as having articles published in the “Judges Corner” of the United Schutzhund Clubs of America Magazine. As training director and coach he has helped handlers of various experience attain more than 60 additional titles as well as training many new handlers as entry-level helpers and trial helpers. Nathaniel’s education includes a BS in Health Management, MS Health Science, PhD and California teaching credentials. He is an Adjunct Clinical Instructor for California College for Health Science, Clinical Instructor for El Camino Community College School of Nursing and the School of Respiratory Care. For the past 15 years he has been employed in the medical field, as an instructor, clinician, consultant and as Clinical Coordinator for a Neonatal Intensive Care Nursery. Some of his daily responsibilities include staff education, unit management, stabilization, neonatal resuscitation, transport of critical care infants and high-risk delivery room attendance.
Markus Neutz, 38 years old, police officer and police dog trainer in a K9-Unit. He started with dog sport in 1978. Since then he's owned different breeds (German Shepherd, Dobermann, Rottweiler and Malinois).
Markus is a member of the SV, the DHV, the ADRK and the DMC (German Malinois Club). In the DMC, He's a judge for IPO and "Körmeister". He is also a "körhelper" and was national Training director in the DMC for 4 years. As a helper, he's worked in many trials up to the Police Nationals and many "körungen" in the DMC. Miran Marš, born 17.10. 1967 - Slovenia FCI International Judge since 1998 for working dogs and exhibition II /2 molosi- rottweiler, trainer, helper and track layer. Vice-president Slovenia tehnical (work) commission at Slovenia Kennel Assosiation (KZS), Cherman Slovenia Rottweiler club and KD Sentjur, member KZS, IFR. 18 years working with dogs and breeding rottweiler- Keenel "Pod Rifnikom". 2 times member Slovenia team in World Championship. Work with Rottweilers, German Shepherd, G.Boxer and other breeds. With my club to organize 2x national IPO championship , 1x CACIT and exebitions CAC and myself 3 times to cooperate in FCI World championship : - in Nova Gorica - 2001- track layer / leader of track layer and 2006 - chif of event - in Grosuplje 2005 IPO FH - leader of track.
